If the pacifier dropped on the floor would you?

pick it up and suck on it to clean it off before putting it back in the baby's mouth? I had a parent do this tonight and I was grossed out. It dropped on the hospital floor and she picked it up, sucked on it 'to clean it off' and then placed it back in the baby's mouth. It's a hospital floor - yuck.
