Wormholes supposedly attach two different points of space potentially light years apart. Imagine you have a?

spaceship which enters a wormhole and is attached to another spaceship via a 100m rope (presuming it was indestructible) which does not enter the hole. At the point of exit from the hole what do you think would happen to the ship that didn't enter. Would it instantly be a 100m behind the spaceship at a different point in space after being violently pulled through to be thousands of light years away instantly? Or if the wormhole was longer than 100m as both ships travelled down it then where exactly would they be existing in space? For example, scientists like to use the ogy of a wormhole through an apple connecting two points but the problem with this is that the wormhole is directly in line with the entry and exit points for this ogy, which is not the case with a wormhole in space, any ideas?
