Possibly Broken Ankle? Help!?

I was playing with my friends today, and we got out these crochet mallets. (sorry if mispelled) umm. so we were playing with those and one of my friends hit me in the inside bumpy part of the ankle. It is very painful, and that is kinda big cuz usually I can withstand a lot of pain. I can walk on it a little but even when i'm not putting weight on it it aches. I think it's a bit swollen and it's bruising. what should i do, and it is broken, what will the doctors do... Srry, but ever since I was a little kid I have this weird fear of doctors. It is weird I know.
