Attempting to log in on Flickr, I found my account had been deleted. No reason given. What's going on???

Yahoo Answers is not Yahoo customer service. Questions here are answered by other Yahoo users. I think you may be mistaken about the copyrights being expired on magazines from the 1930s and 1940s, but I can only guess if your group was deleted for that reason.
