What is the best way to teach young black children to love themselves?

All children of any race has some hang up they deal with, most often in my group of peers it was the weight issue or acne. I think the best way to counteract this way of thinking begins at home. Children learn what they live and they most certainly will not meet the standards around them if they have been shown how little they could actually do. Kids are the mirrors of their parents and others in their lives that they see and hear most often. If we are going to make a difference of the nature you seek to heal into, we must show them they are worth loving just as they are. I think you would be a good example for them to follow for how to become as they grow older and mature into adulthood. Reach out to them wherever you can. It may seem you are not getting through but you will make a larger impact than you will ever know. And by the way, good for you! It takes a great and compionate person to love others as you do.
